Peninsula Sunrise Rotary Maker Faire Event 2012

Saturday, May 19th, 2012

Whats is Maker Faire? the Maker Faire is a celebration of all things DIY - from robotics and electronics to arts and crafts. This is a family-friendly event that inspires creativity, promotes invention and brings makers together. The creation of the Maker Faire was inspired by the great work of Make Magazine.  

 

Whose Invited? Peninsula Sunrise Rotary will be taking two students from each school (grades 6th through 7th, ages 11 to 12) as our guest to the Maker Faire at the San Mateo Event Center on May 19th, 2012. Accompanying us will be at least one teacher from each of the participating schools. All expenses associated with this field trip will be paid by the Peninsula Sunrise Rotary. 

 

We will provide

  • Your child's entrance fee to the event
  • Lunch
  • Cool  t-shirt
  • Transportation to and from the event
